Optically clear mounting adhesives are completely clear, two sided adhesive products specifically designed for applications requiring ultimate optical clarity. Optically clear mounting adhesives from D&K contain UV inhibitors to reduce color shift (fading) in graphics due to UV rays given off by the sun and other light sources. Common applications for optically clear mounting adhesives include window graphics and face mounted acrylic graphics. Optically clear mounting adhesives feature polyester film release liners that give total transparency to the product and protect the adhesives prior to application.

Optically Clear Removable (UV) – OCR
Optically clear removable products contain a clear polyester carrier that is coated on one side with a permanent solvent acrylic adhesive and a removable solvent acrylic adhesive on the other. The permanent adhesive is designed to adhere to the print or graphic while the removable side can be applied to acrylic or glass windows. UV inhibitors in the adhesive layers offer protection against color shift (fading) caused by sunlight and other UV sources. Optically clear removable adhesives can be used for short to long-term/permanent mounting applications since the removable adhesive offers a strong bond that will not lift from glass or acrylic until purposely detached. Optically clear removable adhesives are ideal for window graphics and face mounted acrylic pieces. These adhesive products require a laminator with release liner takeup.
